TOUR PRICE
The Sicily 2008 Tour price is (NZ)$7,300.00 per person twin share (land only) beginning in Rome and ending in Palermo. All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars with a rate of exchange in effect four months before any tour and are subject to currency fluctuations as set out in our booking form. Any increases will be passed on to participants.
SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT
(NZ)$850.00 additional single room supplement.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR COST
Air fares; Travel insurance; Accommodation in Rome outside tour dates (see calendar); Some meals (refer to itinerary); Drinks, food and entertainment costs other than those noted in itinerary; Laundry costs; Gratuities for hotel staff.

SOLO TRAVELLERS
We welcome solo travelers. If you are not travelling with a companion but request twin accommodation, we will endeavour to match you with another tour participant travelling. However, in the event this is not possible you will be required to pay the single supplement.

OPTIONAL: ACCOMMODATION IN ROME

 Rome: Your hotel terrace
| We are happy to arrange accommodation pre and post tour in Rome for tour participants (room availability permitting)* at a comfortable, moderately priced hotel overlooking the Tiber River. Located in a quiet corner of Flaminio just outside the historical centre and within walking distance to Piazza del Popolo, via di Corso and the Spanish Steps this is an ideal place to be based should you want to acquaint or reacquaint yourselves with the charms of historical Rome * Note: Early booking will help secure this accommodation offer in Rome especially if you are planning on staying a few days.
Subject to rooms not being available, an alternative convent or hotel will be offered. NOTE: We will be meeting, departing from and returning to this convent at the end of the tour.

Cancellation between 56 days and 45, days 30% of tour price.
- Cancellation less than 45 days prior to tur departure 100% of tour price.
- If insufficient bookings are made to justify the tour departing any
payments will be refunded in full.

COMPREHENSIVE PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE
Insurance cover for personal accident, baggage, illness, pre-tour cancellation and other unforeseen circumstances is each travellers responsibility and a prerequisite for participation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- All prices quoted are in New Zealand dollars
- Costs are per person sharing twin accommodation
- All tour participants must be able-bodied and of a reasonable level of fitness
- Luggage is limited to one piece per tour participant plus one piece of hand luggage.
- It is the responsibility of all tour participants to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy specifically covering this tour and to have make sure they are in possession of proper and valid
travel documents.
- A ten percent deposit is required at the time of booking. If there are insufficient bookings to warrent a particular tour your deposit will be refunded. Please note that all costs are in New Zealand dollars. Click here for a currency converter.
- Final payment is due 56 days prior to departure.
- Authentic Italy Tours will levy a cancellation fee for any cancellations prior to the departure of this tour as outlined above.
- Authentic Italy Tours can cancel the tour if insufficient bookings are made, and can amend or cancel any part or aspect of the itinerary.
- Travel arrangements before and after the pick up and drop off points in Rome are the responsibility of each individual.
- Authentic Italy Tours can alter prices due to any change in exchange rates or hotel tariffs or other prices adversely affecting the tour costs at any time up to the final payment date for bookings
- Authentic Italy Tours accepts no liability for additional charges, including transport, meals or accommodation costs, incurred as a result of fault, misdemeanour or third party failures, the non provision of services, strikes, cancellations, delays, illness or accident.
- Although we choose with care Authentic Italy Tours does not warrant as to the standard of and will not be held liable for tour participants' dissatisfaction with the standard of service, accommodation or meals during the tour.
- Authentic Italy Tours reserve the right to refuse to carry any potential tour participant whom they consider of unsuitable health, physical or mental condition.
- The tour participant will be solely responsible for their personal baggage, money and belongings, credit cards, traveller's cheques, and health.
- There will be no refunds by the tour operators, for delay, loss or damage to belongings or baggage or for reasons of illness, injury, missed connections, or for any part of the tour not utilised for any other reason.
- Any disputes with or litigation by against Authentic Italy Tours Ltd, their staff or the company directors will take place in Auckland, New Zealand, under New Zealand laws.

ADDITIONAL TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
We have assumed that most of the tour members will be spending additional time in Italy or Europe at one or other end of the tour and will be arranging their own accommodation outside the period of the tour itself. Airfare and additional travel / accommodation beyond the scope of this tour may be arranged with your own travel agent.
